Dear VFW 9986 Comrades,
The fiscal year is passing quickly and it soon will be time for the post to consider who they want to nominate for officers. I ask everyone to take this matter seriously and consider the best interests of the Post. Such as who has or has not been active in supporting the Post and Post functions on a regular basis ? Nominations will open in the March meeting and stay open until the April meeting. A member making the nomination of an absentee for any office shall have presented to the Adjutant, in writing, the consent of the member being nominated prior to the opening of nominations. Please plan on attending this meeting on March 9th,2009 at 7:00pm.
