Don’t forget New Year’s Eve at the VFW Post. Beginning at 6 p.m., there will be music by Louisiana Steve-Party Favors, Food, Champagne, Breakfast – ALL for only $5.00 per person.

December 21, 2008 Update
On Sunday, 12-21, Commander Larry Leeson of VFW Post 9986 and other members visited the Gainesville VA Hospital and Nursing Home bearing gifts for our Veterans. Over 30 gift bags were handed out and we appreciate all of the donations and hard work that made this trip possible.

Beginning in 2009, VFW 9986 will be serving up Hamburgers on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
